Storage time and return deadlines are different

Standard purchase orders have a 90-day warehouse storage period beginning when the order reaches Stored status. Each item has its own start date. Waiting for another seller’s parcel does not restart the clock on items already stored.

Storage is separate from the much shorter return or exchange window. An item may still be within its storage allowance after the opportunity to request a seller return has passed. Review inspection information promptly instead of leaving that decision until you are ready to ship.

Know which deadline applies

Order situationStorage timing
Standard purchase order90 days from Stored status.
Standard order with no action by expiryChanges to Expired; another 30 days without action can lead to disposal.
Abnormal or unmatched parcel30 days from Signed status; it may not be linked to an account that can receive reminders.

Use the status and deadline recorded for your own item. These are warehouse periods, not estimates for delivery to the United States, United Kingdom or Europe.

Set reminders for each stored item

Keep one row per item with its order reference, Stored timestamp, displayed expiry date, QC decision and intended shipment. Sort by the earliest deadline. Copy the deadline from the account rather than assuming every item in a shopping session shares one date.

For example, if shoes were stored before a hoodie, waiting for the hoodie does not restart the shoes’ allowance. Set a planning reminder two weeks before the displayed expiry and a final action reminder one week before it. These are suggested personal reminders, not extra warehouse grace periods.

At the first reminder, choose an action: ship accepted items, resolve a pending return, or check and complete an extension. Recheck the account deadline after an extension; a message requesting one is not confirmation that it has been applied.

Resolve unmatched parcels early

A parcel can reach the building before the warehouse can connect it with the right order or customer. For an abnormal order, the shorter 30-day period starts at Signed status. Missing ownership or logistics information can also prevent reminder emails from reaching you.

If domestic tracking says delivered but the item has not appeared in your account, collect the seller’s tracking number, delivery record and order reference. Ask support to match the parcel promptly. Keep tracking and account references private when sharing a screenshot publicly.

Ship or arrange an extension before expiry

For standard orders, an email reminder is part of the expiry process, but also set your own calendar reminder. List the earliest expiring item first, resolve any QC questions and decide whether to ship the ready items instead of waiting indefinitely for the rest of a haul.

An extension service is available before disposal. Check its availability, price and new end date in the account before paying. A support conversation is not the same as a completed extension: keep the confirmation and verify that the deadline has changed.

Do not use the extra period as a shipping plan

After a standard item expires, a further 30 days without action can result in it being treated as abandoned and destroyed. Destroyed goods cannot be recovered or refunded, and another disposal notice is not guaranteed. Perishable goods also have a shelf life that storage does not extend.

Give yourself time for packing and any follow-up questions before the deadline. Use the consolidation checklist to prepare a ready-to-ship group and the cost guide to make sure the shipment still fits your budget.
